It's that time of the year where all we want is a hot chocolate or cup of coffee. I completely relate. The winter season is brutal. However, from to time to time in the season, I enjoy allowing my taste buds to wallow in some chilled sweet/sour fruity sensation.
Frozen yogurt has come a long way in my life since I loathed them as a teenager. Why, you ask? My loyalty favored ice cream. Frozen yogurt was a second rate version in my opinion. Today, it is not the same. With influence from healthier friends and wanting to live a healthier lifestyle, long gone are the days of prioritizing sugar over high nutrition - The low fat, low calorie frozen yogurt won the race.
More than Frozen yogurt (Greek or Not) becoming a healthier dessert option and a comforting food of convenience, I see it as a snack of beauty. The entire process of making sure the yogurt falls smoothly into my cup to reveal a swirly silhouette that allows for some colorful and visually stimulating decorating aesthetic is absolutely thrilling to me. Not to mention, It also makes for an exciting Instagram moment.
Opening their doors in the heart of Times Square just a few months ago, I satisfy my frozen greek yogurt cravings at Chillbox. The frozen yogurt experience begins with a selective yogurt flavor tasting. The venue managers whose mastery and enthusiasm for the finer greek offerings is enough to leave ones mouth watering. I consider the installment an absolute favorite for its uncomplicated yet cultured offerings, and pleasant service.
