GREY NO GREYHOUND.

Front Page News. Igee Okafor chops off his hair. Strategized image change?

Why the new haircut?

No specific reason. I knew I wanted to try out a new look but I was not sure cutting off my semi high top was the move to make. Especially because everyone I know was so used to it. It was definitely nothing I really thought about or had a strategy for. I arrived at my barbershop, sat in my barber's chair and looked at myself in the mirror. As soon as he was ready to put those clippers on my hair leading into my regular faded haircut, I immediately told him to cut it all off. I have never in my life considered myself much of a risk taker but after I saw the end result of my decision, I was so glad I took the risk. I look like a younger version of myself with better bone structure.

Will I be keeping the hair style? I guess we'll just have to see. You thought change was evitable? Poor unfortunate soul.

In celebration of my new found youth, photo shoots took place in Soho, New York and around. Thank you to my friend, Kedrick Walker for capturing such divine shots on a tight schedule. The jacket I am wearing is a Mixed Biker Jacket. The Faux Leather, High Collar, Zippered front pockets and, Stitched elbow patches are what makes this winter white, body warmer a star piece. I wanted my outfit to revolve around the slight grungy feel of the jacket so I went for an achromatic color scheme featuring grey and white. If you really knew me, you'd know that I love to wear plain T shirts in the spring/summer time so it was no surprise when I added my grey T shirt to the mix. I know this will go down as one of my top 3 spring/summer outfits for 2014. It is very casual yet, detailed and structured. Architects, do you feel me?

I feel like a rockstar. I'm a bike rider now.

P.S. I know I said I'd give you more color and I am. Just check out that fantastic graffiti work behind me.
