On Duty | Denim Personality

When I think of denim, I think steadfast , bold and extreme. The denim on denim movement is definitely one of the most exciting things that has ever happened in fashion, and somehow, it seems to show up every season. I've done denim on denim looks in the past, but it was not until I saw the "Four Five Seconds" music video by Rihanna, Kanye West & Paul McCartney that I realized how tangible the essence of the trend is. It's dangerous in a good way and I am all about it.

With Rihanna's "Four Five Seconds" music video in mind, I thought it would be fun to change things up a bit by collaborating with male bloggers; Veneto Soberanes & Eklavya Juneja. Together, we are showing off the various ways denim can be worn with our very distinct and unique styles.

The thought process for my outfit was pretty straight forward as I knew I wanted to be denim'd out right from the start. Putting this look together came very easily to me; All I did was throw together a series of denim items that matched each other. I also played to the brown undertones that are featured on the jacket hence the reason for the brown belt and sneakers.
