On My Fall 2019 Styling technique:

This season, I am making it a priority to go back to the basics. I’m curating an easily accessible wardrobe consisting of style essentials that can be worn in more than one way. I’m talking color palettes and staples that are able to blend cohesively to produce looks that feel light, comfortable, and easy on the eyes.

I enjoy uniformity and the idea of having a signature style. My styling technique lies in taking those essentials pieces, figuring out a structure that works well for the piece and my body type and sticking to the formula in every other color way or silhouette.

How My Style Changes In The Fall:

I like to think I am much more fashionable in the Fall because the weather allows for more to work with. I enjoy feeling cozy and feeling like my clothes are hugging me. The volume of layers, fabric, and accessorizing pieces are endless and generally, I really just enjoy wearing MORE. More color, more silhouettes, more articles of clothing. I prioritize knitwear, sunglasses, suiting material, custom coats, hats and more. In a certain context, it might be a bit more “all-out” than my spring/summer style.

What I Look Forward To The Most About Fall Style:

The idea that there’s room to work with more clothing since the options are multifarious. Also, seeing how creative everyone including myself can contextualize a fitting styling technique that resonates with their sense of self is appealing.

My go to Fall Style Essentials:

A great sweater or turtleneck, a well made casual jacket to easily throw on, a versatile and warm coat, well tailored navy or white trousers, a pair of loafers, a wrist watch, and a fashionable bag I can go about my day to day meetings with.

The Fashionable Brands I’m Living In All Season:

I’m really making it a point to garner clothing from a variety of brands that make clean, and beautiful products at the core of everything. So far, I’ve been wearing solids from Carl F. Bucherer, Paul Smith, ASKET, Loewe, Sand Copenhagen, Jack & Jones, Indochino, and BOSS.
